TWI’s product lines and services are dynamic and leverage a broad base of technologies from different industries. As we research and develop solutions, we are compiling a technology database that captures both existing and emerging state-of-the-art technologies, especially from nano-based materials development. To supplement this database, a front-end software program (“TWI Database Tool”) is under development that recommends optimum solutions for water purification based upon local conditions and economic parameters. This will act as a field diagnostic kit, enabling the user to not only diagnose problems but also to ascertain appropriate solutions. The combination of solutions and this databank provide TWI with technology platforms that can be leveraged globally over larger markets (with minor modifications) to best service local needs and preferences.
