Mike McGettigan
Mike McGettigan serves as TWI’s Chief Commercial Officer. Mike works in partnership with the Chief Operations Officer, R&D Leadership Team,  Mexico Country Leadership (where TWI has established its initial beachhead), and other key members of the management team, Mike will drive the strategic and tactical commercial activities across Product Management, Voice of the Customer, Sales, Marketing and Communications. He will be responsible for developing both our organic and inorganic revenue and profitability growth strategies to include partnerships, alliances and channel management.

Mike brings more than 20 years of progressive leadership and a tremendous amount of knowledge, innovation and water industry experience to the TWI team from global organizations and consulting.  Most recently, Mike served as Vice President for PerkinElmer Inc.’s $1B Environmental business group. Prior to PerkinElmer, Mike was a consultant to numerous private equity and venture capital start-up businesses where he focused on new product development, go-to-market commercialization, sales force effectiveness, pricing and channel execution and growth strategies in the Green/Clean-tech markets. Earlier in his career, Mike served as President and General Manager for the Americas Advanced Water Treatment business at ITT Corporation (now Xylem) and also worked at General Electric’ Water Business in Strategic Marketing and Product Management roles, where he led Water Reuse and Process Separation market development.

Before these senior Corporate leadership roles, Mike was a Strategic Management Consultant focused on energy/utilities, high technology and eBusiness/eCommerce.  Mike began his professional career as an officer in the United States Navy, where he served as a Division Officer and Assistant Department Head onboard a fast attack nuclear-powered submarine.  Mike earned his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, an M.S.-equivalent in Nuclear Engineering from the United States Navy’s Nuclear Power Program and a B.S. in Computer Science Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, in Annapolis MD.
