Mostafa Analoui, PHD
Mostafa Analoui is a senior director at Pfizer Global Research and Development and is the Global Head and Site Head for Groton-New London; positions he has held since 2001. At Pfizer, Dr. Analoui is a leader in the development of over $500 million dollars in strategic investment (encompassing R&D, licensing, acquisition, and risk management) for therapeutic and diagnostic applications of nanobiotechnology. Dr. Analoui is also an adjunct professor at the Indiana University Schools of Medicine (Radiology) and Dentistry; a position he has also held since 2001. Dr. Analoui received his PhD in Engineering (specializing in electro-chemical engineering and bio-medical engineering) from Purdue University in 1992. From 1996 until 2001, he was President and CEO of Therametric Technologies, Inc. an industry leader in the field of novel diagnostic devices. From 1994 until 2001 he was also an associate professor at Indiana University and Purdue University. At Indiana University he was the Director of the Oral & Maxillofacial Imaging Research Facility, which he had a leading role in establishing. Dr. Analoui holds two patents in quantitative and clinical imaging, and has published over 130 refereed journal articles, abstracts, conference manuscripts and book chapters on diagnostic imaging and clinical technologies. Dr. Analoui has given more than 200 presentations and keynote speeches internationally and is an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE), International Association for Dental Research, American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology and the International Association of Dento-Maxillo-Facial Radiology.
