Christian Meade is a cofounder and partner of Angel Ventures Mexico and Club de
Inversionistas de México. Prior to this, he worked for five years as a senior analyst for the
sustainability research and advisory firm Innovest Strategic Value Advisors (Risk Metrics /
MSCI Barra) in Toronto and Paris, where was a key member of the teams which undertook
the major “Bottom of the Pyramid” study for the Inter-American Development Bank and the
Inclusive Business Index for SNV Netherlands Development Organization. He also worked for
Goodrich Riquelme & Asociados law firm in Mexico City and was an adjunct professor of law
at Tec de Monterrey.

Christian has published a book and numerous articles on sustainability and legal issues
and has also developed legislation for the Senate of Mexico. He holds a law degree
from ITAM (summa cum laude) and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at
York University (international student fellow), with a specialization in Business and
Sustainability. He is also an LLM candidate at the Columbia Law School (Fulbright
scholar and Conacyt fellow).
