Carlos Ludlow
Mr. Ludlow is a prominent Mexican businessman active in social and entrepreneurial activities. He is the founder and President of SOCDES, a company dedicated to improving organization competitiveness. SOCDES provides consulting services in business planning and strategies, competitiveness and benchmarking quality assurance and change processes. Previously, he has held numerous positions as a board member and president of several industrial enterprises.

In his civic and social activities, Mr. Ludlow works closely with major Mexican investors to promote the well-being of low income communities in Mexico, including:

Founding member and since September, 2006, Board Chairman of Camproduce, an organization working with rural communities to introduce high value added products into modern and globalized markets. Camproduce has a track record of successful projects in some of the most marginalized regions of Mexico.

Patron founder and Vice President of Fundaci?n ProEmpleo Productivo, an organization engaged in training unemployed individuals and establishing micro-enterprises. Since its founding ProEmpleo has trained over 22,000 persons, established over 8,000 microenterprises and created over 25,000 jobs.

Associate and President of FONABEC, an organization dedicated to providing educational assistance for low income youth for secondary and higher education. Under his management, FONABEC has supported over 10,000 students.

Member of the social union of Mexican businessmen (Union Social de Empresarios Mexcanos), a business membership organization engaged in the promotion of corporate social responsibility. At various times he has served as a Board Member, President of the Mexico City Chapter and National President.

Founding member of the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility (Aliarse) an organization that brings together the major Mexican business organizations to promote corporate social responsibility.

Mr. Ludlow is a chemical engineer and graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He has been an instructor in social development, corporate social responsibility, benchmarking and strategic planning at various prominent Mexican educational institutions.
